Blogging and dresses

The eventual demise of this blog is unavoidable. With all the issues that I have been having, it is just a matter of time that I close it down. I will be moving on to blogspot, initially with a very basic blog ,so bear with me.

Main reason that pushed me to do this? My parents found out about my blog from someone. And that, ladies and gentlemen, IS NOT COOL.

Who are you to tell my parents that their daughter have been spending her time blogging and putting up pictures of donkeys? Luckily, I stayed with the golden rules of blogging..never say anything bad. But even then..I feel that my privacy have been severely compromised and that, again, IS NOT COOL

On other news, paid a visit to Anna over the weekend, and I might have possibly found  THE gown.No pics cos my baby died, but its a A-line skirt with a really cute obi belt (done up at the back in a shoelace fashion) enhanced with lovely cute embroidery all over it. Embroidery abound at the bottom of the dress as well..and of course a train! Still undecided though..but getting quite excited!

Still a little sad that my dream of a J.Lo-Cris Judd dress is not going to come true.Lace is just waaay too expensive to make into a flowing dress.Bleach

Sheryl's Birthday

Been so so busy....trying to finish my work, trying to make everyone happy, trying to find another job, planning wedding...grrr*

Anyway,  a little outdated, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHERYL! It sure is fun turning 25 isn't it! This birthday girl had 1/4 of a can of beer and two glasses of Chivas-Coke...promptly passed out in her toilet..:P

My baby died

I am so sad it's not funny.My camera died.Yes .Kaput.No more pictures from me.It's so absolutely sad!!

I made a couple of earrings over the weekend and was thinking bout getting some really great shots to advertise my work. Turned my baby on,and BLANK screen.COMPLETE DARKNESS.

I don't know what to do now.I think i need to get it repaired but where?How?How much will that cost?Should I just get a new one?Or should I use my old PowerShot whilst I'm still here and use Si's when I get to the UK and not spend money getting a new camera?

UK Explored- York

I've misplaced my first CD...so I've got to skip pictures taken in london and move back to Yorkshire. No visit to Yorkshire is complete without a trip to York..the granddaddy of York-shire.

Im not kidding...this is actually the name of a street. Legend has it that you are allowed to whip your wife there every day from 6-6.15pm...and will go unpunished.

I look quite fat and "kembang", but who cares

My back feels like it's been trampled on by a herd of elephants. How appropriate. Stayed home yesterday due to the excruciating pain and slept my way through.

This is possibly the last Merdeka I celebrate on Malaysian soil as a Malaysian.

48 years ago, we celebrated our departure from British rule. 48 years later, here I am, working on Merdeka day in a British company. How ironic that we achieved independence from the British and yet, there are still Malaysians working on Merdeka due to the fact that they work for a British company in Malaysia.

And no triple pay either.

.

It is with joy and sorrow that I look back on this Merdeka. Merdekas of the past have been filled with parties and booze, just an excuse for weekday partying. This merdeka I look back on Malaysia, how we have evolved to become what we have become today.

.

I can proudly say I am a Malaysian.
